Side A, meet Side B
Side B, here's your new friend Side A. Hopefully you two will get along just fine.
I am so surprised about how fast this is going. The two parts of Orangina are almost ready for the ribbing. They really need a good blocking, but I think I'll wait until after the ribbing, then block the whole thing.
Okay, so this fast knitting isn't just from casual knitting-while-watching-television. I've been out sick from work a couple days with a cold/sore throat, so I've had whole days to knit Orangina. Knitting is such a bonus to being sick and out of work, that it makes me feel guilty about taking a sick day! Even if I am legitimately ill, you know I could go in if I really *needed* to. Once I decided that I was definitely staying home, the next thought in my head was: "yessss, knitting all day!" Its downright guilt-inducing.
So I am totally in a red phase. I find I am attracted to colors in phases. Before this, I was all about the cool green/blue color range. Case in point: shoes that match orangina, and I didn't even plan it.

Those shoes are beautiful! You could not have planned that one better--I love the color coordination :) and your Orangina is so pretty--almost done!

Every cloud has a silver lining and knitting on sick days is definately that one. Those shoes are completely fabulous. What are they? Orangina looks great. What a fun project. Feel better soon.

Cute shoes! I love that they'll match your top. I had a couple sick days last week, and that's how I got so much of Orangina done. I'm working on the ribbing and it is NO FUN. I went down to size 2s b/c I was afraid the cotton wouldn't be stretchy enough. I'm excited to see yours all done. The color is great!

Oh it looks so nice! I did order the pattern. I want your honest opinion on the yarn you used, I am considering it to do mine...I am in a purple phaze, so I am drawn to the lavender! Your shoes are perfect!

You know how I feel about red. You know. Just hand over the shoes if they're a size 7. Don't make me come over there.
I've also rejoiced at the realization that being ill means knitting more. There was a day when I was so delirious, I finished half of a sweater front in one sitting!

OMG, I love those shoes. Please tell me that they are comfortable, supportive, and where I can get me a pair of my own.

I like to go all Picasso and call my color phases "periods" It certainly makes me feel more impressive than I have any right to be.
Those shoes are fab! Do they have any pointy-toed counterparts?

Hey! It's helena jane (craftster) I was just wondering what your opinion is on this... Could orangina have been done on circulars?????
I'm thinking of trying it on them (I hate seaming, especially laces!) Thanks lady!

Cutest shoes EVER! Those totally do match Orangina! I feel the same way about missing work... There have been a few days where I know I could have sucked it up, but stayed home knitting, sleeping, eating instead! It happens to the best of us! ;)

Orangina is really coming along!!! I'm starting to totally have a crush on that pattern...if I wasn't on a new strict yarn diet, I'd TOTALLY make one!!!

Orangine is lovely. I've seen the pattern stitch in one of Barbara Walker's treasuries--so simple and such a great effect.
Your wrap sweater looks great, too. What did you do to make it fit better?
