Buttons and a new blog
ok, SQ! After many requests from my inquiring sister, here is a photo of the nearly-finished Demi:
Demi is not *totally* done; I still need to sew on the buttons. before that, I need to purchase some buttons. Then we will see the true complete Demi.
After spending a good half hour in M&J buttons the other day, I still managed to buy the wrong ones. I got some dead boring greenish ones that match, but Demi deserves interesting. Perhaps I will go back for the ones made from cow's toenails. (they were cool-looking, really)
Did you see I designed Blossom's new home for whispering pine? Quite happy with the final design. I love doing blog designs; especially custom ones that fit the author. do check it out!

What a gorgeous knit. I am so jealous...I need to get back on the challenging, gorgeous knit wagon!
Love Blossoms new blog. I am gaining interest in switching from blogger to my own domain...any suggestions? I know nothing about it.

Demi looks great. I'm intrigued by the cow hoof buttons. I would bet they are very cool. Why do you suppose you can buy cow hoof buttons in NY and not in WY, where we raise the stupid things? Blossom's blog is fabulous, as I knew it would be. You do such a good job of capturing the blogger's personality in your designs. BTW, I'm glad you're back.

demi looks wonderful! isn't it crazy you can spend hours in M&J and still come home with the wrong button?! You may also want to check out Great Button on 6th Ave and 39th st. They have a pretty good selection of vintage buttons.
Btw, in case you don't know - LICknit was erased by Yahoo due to the SFSE legal crap. We have a new home now LICknit2 on Yahoo and LICknit on Google.

My girlfriend, She-who-does-not-like-handknits (I know, torture for the knitter) said of your Demi: "Hey, will you knit that for me?" I'd say that means SUCCESS!
