Finished signal flare scarf
Specs:
Yarns: Kool-aid dyed worsted weight wool, held together with Madil Kid Seta in salmon. The wool was pretty scratchy, and needed this mohair/silk to soften it up.
Pattern: the so-called scarf
This was a pretty speedy scarf. I really enjoyed knitting it. The colors are pretty bright, but its fun to wear. very contrasting with my black coat.
I really need to catch you guys up on all my knitting! In the works are the sweater with wide collar and a nearly finished pair of socks, amoung other things..

I'm loving your new scarf! The texture of the yarn with the texture of the stitch pattern is a winner. Pretty!

My kool-aid dyed yarns came out a little bright too, but your new scarf is a terrific use of them!! It is fabulous! Best Wishes!

It's really beautiful! Great spring scarf. That so called scarf stitch makes variegated yarns really show off, I love it with the black and I bet it'd look good with bright white or light blue, too.

Oooo I like that. The combination of fiery colour and horizontal herringbone stitch has produced a gorgeously elemental sort of scarf.

OOoooOOooOoo..the color! The variation of orange and red is so pretty! The stitch pattern really shows it off to it's advantage.

Fabulous! I love that pattern, and the colors you have are perfect for it. I bet the Kid Seta really softens up the wool - great idea.

So pretty! I started this scarf in Malabrigo, in a green colorway, back in November, but I've had to take a break from knitting to rest my hands...very difficult...at the rate I'm going, I hope to finish by the end of this year!
